I have a lot of trouble finding my mix voice, I think I would be able to get through my first bridge if I actually knew what was on the other side. I don't think I have ever sung in mix.

Thank you for your question. This is a really good one, and one that many singers wonder about.
The great thing is you realize that there is such thing as "the mix" and are pushing forward to discover it.
It really is something worth working towards, because it's literally the key to sing high notes effortlessly, while maintaining a powerful sounding tone quality.
So how do you find it?
Well, the first thing to do is actually counter intuitive.
You need to not attempt to sing in your mix!
What does this mean?
Well, when you're singing correctly, you will make the necessary adjustments as you move up your range automatically.
Instead of having chest voice, mixed voice, and head voice, it feels like you have one continuous voice.
The only change is your sound resonates in slightly different areas as you move from the bottom of your range to the top.
So it's actually helpful to not try and search for something "different".
When you get your technique correct, a side benefit of that will be you being able to move into your mixed voice effortlessly.
The fact that you're struggling to get into your mix at the moment may indicate that something to do with your technique is out of place.
On the video page on this website you'll find several singing exercises that encourage your voice to function with good technique.
If you practice these exercises you'll begin to get a feel for singing with proper vocal technique.
One key when trying to discover your upper range is to never force the exercises.
If you try to get your upper range by forcing your voice, you'll only be reinforcing bad technique, because it's this "pushing" that will put your voice out of whack.
So only sing as high as you can comfortably, and do the exercises at medium volume.
I hope this helps you discover your mixed voice!
